It was quite an adventure and eventful day trying to get my FREE O’Briens sandwich for breakfast and nice cuppa of Milo. After going online and searching about the best deals and freebies, I came across the Milo Breakfast Movement down at One Utama from 23rd – 24th March 2013 from 10am until 9.30pm.
Hearing that it's FREE O’Briens, I went a bit nuts. Trust me, waking up as early as 9-10am on a weekend is a big task if you had a very tiring and busy past week. But anyhow, what's life with out a bit of adventure, right? I left my comfort zone and gave this event a go and now I'm smiling all the way.
The truth is that I did go to 1-Utama on the 23rd March 2013 but I came around 10.30am, close to 11.00am and parked at the new wing. As the ad was not really clear as to where they were located in 1-Utama, it made me go a bit around in circles trying to find my FREE sandwich. Finally, when I did find the event venue which is actually located at the Old Wing of 1-Utama nearby Jusco, it was close to 11.00am. I found the venue and it was time for my Free breakfast right? Nope, it was a big fat NO, I felt like falling off a cliff when the staff told me that the breakfast was all given away as there was only a limited amount of O'Brien's sandwiches. There were other activities around to get a goodie bag but my heart just sank because I didn't get my free breakfast as I was so hyped on this. I just sadly went off.
Anyhow, I was determined to get something free for once in my life as I like O’Briens sandwich and Milo so much. I went again on the 24th March 2013 to 1-Utama, even earlier this time, at exactly 10.00am and this time I struck gold! I guess my dad was right after all as he usually says, "the earliest bird always gets the biggest worm."
And YES! The Free sandwich was delicious and Milo, oh well, what can you say, good as always. Here are some of the activities that took place at the event which I did participate in the event and Thank You Milo for my Free breakfast and my awesome goodies bag.
